Mesh-Oriented Solutions, a University of Glasgow spin-out, develops physics-based simulation tools that enable engineers and AI systems to solve complex manufacturing, failure analysis and design optimisation problems.
Reliability for AI-driven engineering
We believe critical engineering decisions need physics-based evidence that engineers can examine and trust. As AI expands design exploration and automation, reliable simulation becomes even more important.
The MoFEM engine behind our tools
MoFEM is the finite element engine developed by our founding team. Its mixed formulations, error estimation, automatic refinement and GPU scalability underpin our tools. Developing the engine lets us adapt its methods to customer problems and build reusable specialist modules. Explore our technology, projects and publications.
EDF Energy uses MoFEM, following independent audits, to model nuclear graphite fracture for reactor integrity assessments.
From first assessment to deployment
Our services start with a technical audit, followed by two deployment options: in your own environment or in the cloud.
- Technical audit: assess fit and demonstrate our tools on your problem.
- Customer deployment: specialist tools, automated workflows and AI interfaces in your environment.
- Cloud deployment: scale simulation capacity as demand grows, without licence limits.
